Huonville v New Norfolk at Huonville, 2pm Saturday
Both teams will want to secure a good win this weekend to continue to move up the ladder as we move further into the 2016 season.
New Norfolk won their first round for this season last weekend and will be hoping this will be a turning point for the team. The Eagles will be travelling down to Huonville to play this week, looking for a strong and confident game of football on top of the solid win over Brighton in Round 5.
Both teams will be willing to give it their all this weekend in an important match for both teams. It will be interesting to see who will come out that little bit stronger from the first bounce.
Cygnet v Hobart at Kermandie, 2pm
This will definitely be an interesting match after both of these teams had exceptional wins in Round 5. This match will be played at Kermandie Oval as part of the Cygnet Football Club’s community focus and the SFL commends the club on this initiative to take the game back into a traditional football community and looks forward to a strong crowd.
Brighton v Claremont at Pontville, 2pm
After a big loss for Brighton and a bye for Claremont in Round 5, both teams will be up for securing the win this week. After the form from the last few matches it’s a matter of whether the reigning premiers will come through again or if Brighton will put everything they have into it and prove to be a genuine finals contender in 2016.
Dodges Ferry v Lindisfarne at Shark Park, 2pm
Dodges Ferry is probably feeling a little nervous going into Round 6, taking on the undefeated Lindisfarne. There is no sure tip for how this game will go... will Lindisfarne keep their undefeated position or will Dodges Ferry be strong enough to take the points?
