Police seeking information about van driver

Police have received a number of calls in relation to a white/cream van seen near schools and children in the New Norfolk area in the last couple of days.


The van is described as off white/cream in colour, with a circle-shaped badge at the front, possibly a Toyota emblem. It has two doors at the front and a sliding side door. There are three aqua blue stickers on the driver’s side of the car.


The driver is described as having red to fair hair with a goatee/unshaven and wearing a light grey jumper. Anyone who spots the van is asked to take note of its registration number and call police immediately.


Parents are reminded of the importance of speaking to their children about personal safety.


Anyone with information about the van or the driver is asked to call police on 13 14 44 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
