In the season opener, New Norfolk will meet 2018 premiers Lindisfarne in a home game at Boyer Oval.
New Norfolk has named Jacob Wigg as captain of the senior side, assisted by Ben Lovell and Jordan Banks-Smith as vice-captains, noting that all three have shown great dedication and are good role models for the club.
Josh Clifford is the senior coach, assisted by Adam Saville in the role of senior bench coach. Corey Ransley is coaching the reserves side and Paul Clark has charge of the Colts/Under 19s. David Kube is the new coach of the women's side.
With the late withdawal of Brighton from the senior competition, it will be an eight-team contest and the fixture has been adjusted accordingly. New Norfolk will field teams in all four levels of the SFL competition.
Brighton will field reserves and colts teams, while Claremont will not field a colts team, resulting in additional byes for the participating seniors and colts sides. The colts play an additional round, and the New Norfolk side will have several twilight matches.
