During the presentations, the club announced that Brett Smith would be the new coach for the 2019/20 season. Smith has previously spent 26 years involved with the Glenorchy Cricket Club with 22 of those years on the committee, from president down to general committee member. He played 160 games through all grades with 70 of those as captain. This is a great appointment by Molesworth, which will certainly help both on and off the field season. There are exciting times ahead.
