Part of the crowd at Arthur Square on Good Friday. |
Parishioners of local churches and members of the public heard from several speakers and sang songs with music provided by two guitarists.
Held at the fountain in the middle of the square, the short service followed separate gatherings in the individual churches of the town. Afterwards, a morning tea of hot drinks and hot cross buns was provided in the St Matthew's Anglican Church Hall.
Two guitarists accompanied the singing of hymns. |
