Dramatic house fire

A VACANT house in Andrews St, New Norfolk, was all but destroyed in a dramatic fire tonight. The blaze was reported at 9.50pm and the New Norfolk Fire Brigade was soon on the scene. Meanwhile, residents of an adjoining property, and their neighbours, were fighting the fire with garden hoses. Six vehicles from the New Norfolk Fire Brigade attended, along with police and ambulance. The attending paramedic and an off-duty firefighter treated several people for smoke inhalation.
