NOMINATIONS for membership of the new Willow Court Conservation Committee were expected in about a fortnight, last week's Derwent Valley Council meeting heard. Responding to a public question from Mr Len Butterworth, acting mayor Barry Lathey said the committee chairman, David Llewellyn, was very enthusiastic.
Council general manager Stephen Mackey confirmed that Mr Llewellyn had accepted the role and was working on terms of reference for the new committee, which has not yet been formed. Mr Llewellyn was also considering potential members for the committee and his nominations were expected within a fortnight.
