Persistence pays for New Norfolk Under 16s

Trent Henderson
IN slippery conditions at Kingston Beach the Under 16 Eagles overcame a persistent Kingborough Gold to record a good win last weekend. At times the game was hard and physical but to our boys' credit they continued to provide a contest while making the most of their forward line attacks. Dakoda Smith cleared the ball from the centre on several occasions while our half-back line stood up well.

Congratulations to Trent Henderson who played his 100th game for the team. Well done also to Alex Blair and Cooper Triffitt on making the Under 15 Southern team while Joshua Farrow has been selected for the Under 14 Southern team.
