New Norfolk footy preview

THIRD-PLACED New Norfolk remains at home for a second week in a row, to take on a struggling Cygnet and will be looking to record another percentage boosting victory as they start to get some of their better players back into the side and gain momentum as they build into their 2014 campaign.

The visiting Cygnet side is yet to record a win this season and with the loss of several key players from 2013 it has struggled in attack and defence. The Eagles recorded a big win over Brighton last weekend and will once again be looking for some hard fought football as their experienced players need to be challenged regularly to make them to perform at their ultimate the best in this talented side.

Cygnet was gallant last weekend in the home match at Kermandie but was overrun by a talented East Coast and will need to play four consistent quarters and get some contribution from all 22 players if it is remain to competitive in this game.

New Norfolk should record another big victory at home whilst Cygnet will be looking to improve its performance and should be able to gain some confidence and form for future weeks.
