Caltex closed for renovations

Upgrading work has started at Caltex New Norfolk. 
NEW Norfolk's Caltex petrol station has closed temporarily to allow underground equipment to be upgraded in readiness for the site's redevelopment as a Mood Food outlet.

Plans lodged with the Derwent Valley Council by Potter Projects on behalf of Bennett's Petroleum show that the existing building on the corner of Montagu and Burnett Streets is to be extended to accommodate a new convenience store, takeaway and coffee bar.

Two disused service bays at the 24-hour petrol station will be incorporated into the large new retail area which will also have a unisex accessible toilet. The plans show that the revamped business will take on the Mood Food brand.
