Washing your hands for 20 seconds is one of the most effective forms of infection control. Do this after blowing your nose, coughing or sneezing; after close physical contact with anyone who is unwell; after using the toilet; before and after eating; before, during and after preparing food; and after feeding or touching a pet.

NNPS fair coming up

THE annual New Norfolk Primary School Fair will be held at the school in Pioneer Avenue on Friday, November 25, from 4–7pm.

Stalls will include a barbecue, cakes, fairy floss, popcorn, lucky envelopes and white elephant (books, DVD's, CDs, videos, puzzles, clothing). There will also be handmade cards, lucky dips, lucky jars, water and wine plus a Parents and Friends Association raffle.

A garden stall will offer seedlings of tomato, pumpkin and strawberry plants and local producers will be there with handmade products, clothing and homewares, as well as stalls organised and run by school classes.

Community groups will also be present including  the Lion’s Club chocolate wheel, D’Fat dunking machine, Derwent Valley Players, New Norfolk High School band "All Stars", Tree2Sea, NRD Studios with dance displays, Derwent Valley Community House, and Freedom Health & Wellness.

Children's activities will include a jumping castle, the merry-go-round, sumo suits, clowns and a balloon artist. Showbags will be on sale.
