Wind lifts post office roof

The scene at the post office in High St this morning.

Police cordoned off the area around 10am and the Derwent Valley State Emergency Service is controlling the scene while postal and telecommunications staff attend to the damage.

Due to the very high winds, the New Norfolk tip site is closed today. Check their Facebook page for updates.
