Olympian praises New Norfolk club

OLYMPIC silver medallist Kate Hornsey has spoken of the important role played by the New Norfolk Rowing Club in her sporting career. Speaking to ABC News at yesterday's welcome home celebrations in Hobart, Hornsey paid tribute to her home club. The report can be read here (this link includes text and video versions). Hornsey, from Molesworth, won silver in the women's pair at the London Olympics earlier this month, becoming one of Tasmania's most successful athletes at the games.
