Advice for visitors to Mt Field

STRONG winds are again predicated for Saturday, January 4, at Mt Field National Park. This may affect access to walking tracks and the Lake Dobson Rd.

All camping will continue to be on the open grassed area of the park but no powered sites will be available until Sunday once all tree hazards have been removed from the campground area. The amenities block will remain open to all campers.

The Tasmanian Parks and Wildlife Service will continue to update its Facebook on a regular basis regarding any closures within the park. All visitors are asked to stop at the reception desk  for further information and updates. The Waterfalls Cafe will remain open.
