IN the local Twenty20 matches last week, Gretna had a good 20-run win over Campania at Campania. Mathew Eyles starred with the bat, making 47 with 5x4s while Dylan Pearce took 2-23 off three overs to be the main wicket- taker.
In the other match, New Norfolk II went down to Old Beach in a close match, losing by one wicket with the match going down to the wire in the final over. Nathan Rice, who turned 13 last week, bowled extremely well with figures of 4-14 off his four overs. Josh Walsh bowled the final over and was unluckily hit for six from a top edge. Walsh did well top-scoring with 31.
