Twenty20 cricket

IN Round 3 of the Kookaburra Twenty20 Superbash second tier matches last Wednesday night, Gretna lost easily to the Knights at Abbotsfield Park. The Knights hit up the good score of 157 and in reply Gretna could only manage 43 after it was bowled out in the 13th over.

After some good matches this season, both Gretna and New Norfolk have now bowed out of the Twenty20 competition.

Scores: Knights 7 for 157 off 20 overs (11 extras) d Gretna 10 for 43 off 12.5 overs (3 extras) at Abbotsfield Park. Gretna batting: B. Emery 10, D. Pearce 10. Gretna bowling: M. Eyles 2-19 (3), J. Eyles 2-23 (4), P. Jelkic 2-34 (4).
