SFL Season 2015
Round 12 Preview
By BEN HARRISON
THE original home of cricket in Tasmania could be well served to get out some scoresheets and record books as it could be showers of goals forecast for this round’s footy clash between old rivals the Tigers and the Eagles at the TCA Ground tomorrow.
Some individual efforts will be the focus mainly around the goal scoring feats of SFL top goal kicker Zeke Gardam and the dynamic New Norfolk coach Caden Wilson who kicked six goals from 14 shots on goal last week.
One clash that could be worth the gate fee would be Tiger key forward Sam Reeves who has 37 goals for the season on the League’s most highly rated defender Rohan Heron. Reeves loves kicking goals at the TCA and Heron takes great pleasure in stopping forwards.
Last time these sides met the margin was in excess of 30 goals at Boyer in Round 3, but this time we are giving Hobart a smaller margin at home at the TCA and expect a victory to the Eagles by just over 100 points.
Player to watch: Mark Horne (New Norfolk)
Prediction: New Norfolk by more than 100 points.
