New Norfolk tipped tomorrow

SFL Season 2015
Round 11 Preview

By BEN HARRISON
NEW Norfolk returns home to Boyer Oval tomorrow to take on Lindisfarne and try to restore a little order after a disappointing performance last round against Claremont. The Eagles will meet an in-form Lindisfarne who have not done a lot wrong since the last time these two teams met in Round 2. On that occasion the Eagles travelled to Anzac Park after an earlier loss to the Magpies and solidly accounted for the Two Blues.

Eagles coach Caden Wilson is unquestionably the leader for New Norfolk and he will most likely be missing from on-field after a hamstring strain last round and the loyal Boyer faithful would be hoping that the likes of veteran on-baller Roger Belcher will continue to lead the way to get the Eagle machine back on track.

Rohan Heron will have to lead his defence as well as ever and make sure Brody Phillips doesn’t end up with another big bag after finishing with six goals last round. Keep an eye out for Declan Crawford and Phillips to continue their good form for the Two Blues in what could also be an upset if the Eagles are not on their game.

Player to watch: Roger Belcher (New Norfolk)

Prediction: New Norfolk by 24 points.
