Roadtrip for the Eagles tomorrow

SFL Season 2015
Round 14 Preview

By BEN HARRISON
THE East Coast Bombers have made hard work for themselves holding onto third spot and the double chance in the finals race after going down to Brighton in the last round and things won’t get any easier as they take on a rampaging New Norfolk at Triabunna tomorrow (Saturday).

In turn, the Bombers may be advised to not look too deeply at the Eagles' form over the last three rounds. Following a thrashing of Lindisfarne by over 100 points the Eagles then took to the Tigers by the tune of 23 goals and last weekend battered Cygnet again by more than 20 goals.

The Bombers will just have to try to get first hands on the football to restrict the scoring opportunities for the Eagles who last week had 13 different goal scorers. In a direct opposite the Bombers could only manage six majors and will need to find many more avenues to goal if they are to stay in this contest.

Player to watch: Brayden Chaplin (New Norfolk)

Prediction: New Norfolk by 52 points.
