SMOKE from multiple bushfires around Tasmania has filled the skies over New Norfolk for much of today and is continuing into the night.
The New Norfolk, Lachlan and Magra fire brigades made quick work of a small vegetation fire on Glebe Rd this evening, with a strike force taking care of it in minutes.
UPDATE: The fire brigade has responded to multiple calls to the same location on Glebe Rd tonight, opposite the council depot. Anyone witnessing suspicious activities in the area is asked to contact Crime Stoppers 1800 333 000 or visit https://www.crimestopperstas.com.au/
