Gretna 13s end on a high

GRETNA Under 13s ended the junior cricket season with a big win over Glenorchy. Playing at Gretna, the home side scored 7 for 150 off 25 overs to defeat Glenorchy 10 for 96 off 22.3 overs. Batting - Gretna: Jacksyn Mann 47 not out (six 4s, two 6s), Reece Williams 39no (five 4s), Josh Russell 18no (three 4s), Aiden Russell 7, Jack Stevenson 6, Dylan Downie 2, Daniel Browning 2no. Bowling - Gretna: Hannah Mann 2 for 8 off two overs, Ryan Browning 2 for 8 off two overs, Josh Russell 1 for 2 off 1.3 overs, Jack Stevenson 1 for 3 off two overs, Ryan Emery 1 for 4 off two overs, Daniel Browning 1 for 7 off two overs, Jacob Bowerman 1 for 11 off two overs.

Gretna Under 15s ended the season with a bye. The club's junior trophy day will be held on March 19 at the Gretna Sports Ground starting at 10am. There will be a barbecue, game of cricket and team photos will be taken. For more information contact Wade Gleeson on 0429 704 677.
