Part of last year's parade
THE New Norfolk Christmas Parade will be held this Saturday, December 8. Funded by the New Norfolk Business Alliance, the parade will start at noon and finish around 1pm.

The pageant will start at Arthur Square, making its way up High St to the council chambers and around Circle St before returning to Arthur Square.

Coming up on the following Friday evening, December 14, is the Lions Derwent Valley Carols in the Park, at New Norfolk's Tynwald Park. Children's activities will start at 6pm, followed by the carols at 8pm.

The entertainment prior to the carols includes Sands Family Circus, an animal nursery, face painting, a jumping Castle and the Derwent Valley Youth Future Action Team (D'FAT). The New Norfolk Cricket Club will operate its kiosk, including a barbecue, and all money raised will be donated to the Give Me 5 for Kids appeal.
