Little cricketers had a blast

THE Junior Blast cricket program was conducted at the Glenora District School on Sunday mornings for the past eight weeks.

Children of various ages and abilities participated in the program, developing essential cricket skills while having fun. Each session was packed full of  skill-building and teamwork activities.

Thank you to the parents who supported the program and to Tash Farrow who helped me to co-ordinate the program. A second Junior Blast program will run in February.

Pictured above are the participants. In the back, from left, are: Henry Whittaker, Jack Embrey, Bentley Bowerman, Connor Jones, Oliver Johnston and Oliver Downie. Front: Caleb Wilson, Olivia Whittaker and Flynn Ripley. Absent: Max Lane.
