Looking a lot more like Christmas

The final Christmas banner going up
in High St last night.
IT'S looking a lot more like Christmas in High St thanks to the efforts of volunteers who have erected banners and garlands in the town centre in the last few days.

Nicky Rouleston from the Big Red Box boutique was up a ladder securing the last of the decorations when the New Norfolk News snapped this photo marking the end of several evenings of work by a small group calling itself New Norfolk Christmas.

As well as decorating the High St banner poles, the group will soon be opening Santa's House for two weeks for photos with Santa and collecting donated items for the Share the Dignity charity as well as being a drop-off point for anyone wishing to contribute wrapped lollies for the New Norfolk Fire Brigade's Santa run on Christmas Eve.

Find out more about the New Norfolk Christmas group's activities on its Facebook page.
