Butterworth breakthrough

TASMANIA Police today announced a breakthrough in the 42-year-old mystery of the disappearance of Lucille Butterworth. Lucille was heading to a Miss Tasmania Quest meeting in New Norfolk on the night she disappeared in 1969.

Police today said new information had been received and the missing person case was now considered to be a murder. ABC News has reported that the police have a suspect, a man now aged in his 60s who has served jail time for an attack on a woman.
