Young Eagle honoured

Josh Berry
NEW Norfolk Junior Football Club member Joshua Berry has been named the best and fairest Under 14 player in the Southern Tasmanian Junior Football League. The award was presented at King George V Oval last Friday night.

Coach Wade Gleeson described the win as a great achievement. "Josh has been a top cross country runner from a young age has shown great football ability since he first played in the Under 10s," Gleeson said.

Gleeson also paid tribute to team-mates Hayden Smith and Hayden Bielleman who were both in the running right up to the final round. "Josh received three votes in the final round against North Hobart to take out the medal," Gleeson said. Smith and Bielleman finished the count in third and fourth place respectively.

"Hayden Smith has had a great season after playing his previous seasons with Claremont, and would you believe it that this is Hayden Bielleman's first season of football? Well done boys," coach Gleeson said.
