COVID-19 ADVICE: The following links provide official advice and information about the virus known as COVID-19.
Australia's state and federal governments are taking action to help slow the spread of COVID-19. Use the links above to source the latest advice about what you can do to protect yourself and others. Washing your hands for 20 seconds is one of the most effective forms of infection control. Do this after blowing your nose, coughing or sneezing; after close physical contact with anyone who is unwell; after using the toilet; before and after eating; before, during and after preparing food; and after feeding or touching a pet.

Advice on grant applications

COMMUNITY groups are invited to attend a forum to be hosted by the Tasmanian Community Fund at New Norfolk on February 20. The evening will provide details on how to maximise the chance of receiving a grant.

The fund provides grants for a broad range of projects that improve Tasmania’s social, economic and environmental wellbeing. Since 2000 the fund has allocated $58.6 million to more than 1700 projects across the state.

There is about $2.5 million available for distribution in the next round. Expressions of interest close on February 29 (large grants), March 21 (small grants) and April 4 (medium grants).  To attend the forum, contact Gill Mosmann by emailing admin@tascomfund.org or call 6233 2920.  Visit www.tascomfund.org or contact Gill for further information on the fund.
