Bushy Park Pool closed

DUE to the extreme fire danger in the region, the Bushy Park Pool was closed to the public shortly after 1pm.

For anyone disrupted by the fire emergency there is a designated community safer place at the Bushy Park Showground.

1.30PM UPDATE: The buildings at the Bushy Park Showgrounds will be opened shortly to receive anyone displaced by the fire. First aid will be available.

    I would just like to thank and commend you, NN News, for keeping us updated on the bushfire ... nice to be able to trust a local to have the heads up given that the mainstream news services are much less on the ball.
