Maydena celebrates Australia Day

A GREAT time was had at the Australia Day activities held in Maydena last Thursday. There was an enjoyable walk to Junee Caves and back, a free barbecue and fun events including gumboot throwing and a lawnmower relay.

Community appreciation certificates were presented to Margaret Denny and Ian Slater in recognition of their contributions to the town.

The day's events were hosted by the Maydena Community Association, which will hold its montly meeting at the Maydena Online Access Centre at 6.30pm this Monday, February 6. All welcome,
