Do this after blowing your nose, coughing or sneezing; after close physical contact with anyone who is unwell; after using the toilet; before and after eating; before, during and after preparing food; and after feeding or touching a pet.

Extended hours at Bushy Park Pool

WITH the start of school holidays today, opening hours at the Bushy Park Swimming Pool will be extended. From today, the pool is open from noon to 6pm on weekdays and 10am-6pm on weekends. The pool will be closed on Christmas Day.

Jump into January with some swimming lessons at the pool. On offer is a five-day intensive program costing $40 plus pool entry. Classes will be held between 10am and noon, Monday to Friday. Bookings are essential - call 0417 415 756.

Lifeguard Sharyn Loller is also a "bronze star squad" on Saturdays at 8.45am. This is for fitness and fun while improving endurance and style, learning some lifesaving and survival skills. All welcome. The cost is pool entry plus gold coin donation. Bronze star is the first level of the recognised Royal Life Saving program and some participants may achieve their bronze star by the end of the season.
