Nothing to fear - it's a burnoff

A CONTROLLED burn near Corumbene Nursing Home has cast a cloud of smoke across New Norfolk tonight.

The New Norfolk Fire Brigade appears to be managing the burnoff, which is occurring on the bank below the nursing home, between Lower Rd and Hobart Rd.
