Statewide radio broadcast from Maydena

ABC Radio will present its statewide afternoon program from Maydena tomorrow (Wednesday). Presenter Penny Terry will broadcast live from the Maydena RSL Club from 2-4pm.

Penny and the Your Afternoon team regularly take the program into communities to find out more about the people and the places. Today they were at Sorell.

For the Maydena broadcast Penny will meet, among others, Debbie Raspin, the RSL's licencee and treasurer; Dulcie Donahue, who has lived in Maydena for 70 years; and tourisim operator Derek Whitwell.

The show can be heard on 936 ABC Hobart, ABC Northern Tasmania and via the stream at abc.net.au/hobart.
