Washing your hands for 20 seconds is one of the most effective forms of infection control. Do this after blowing your nose, coughing or sneezing; after close physical contact with anyone who is unwell; after using the toilet; before and after eating; before, during and after preparing food; and after feeding or touching a pet.

Weather closes schools

A NUMBER of schools will be closed today, August 1, following power outages, road closures and damage to facilities. This includes:

Collinsvale Primary School 

Glenora District High

Westerway Primary School 

Schools affected by further closures will contact parents.  An updated list of closed schools is available on the Education Department’s Facebook page www.facebook.com/taseducation
