Youth League Cricket

YOUTH LEAGUE 
Round 6 

THE Gretna Under 13s had a good match against University Black last Sunday morning. Gretna made 106 with Jacob Blackwell and Tyrone Bailey doing a great job making 17 each while Zac Wheeler and Sam Jackson bowled well with a wicket each.

In the New Norfolk Under 13s match against Clarence, Coby Kemmler batted very well with 32 not out while Riley Higgins did likewise with 29. Of the bowlers for the Red Caps, Teagan Kemmler and Dylan Browning bowled did taking a wicket each.

In the Under 15s Gretna had a great win over the Kingborough Knights. Jake Campbell top-scored with 64 and Ryan Emery also did well with 54. Jake Campbell had a good game and took two wickets as did Jacob Bowerman who continues to impress.

The New Norfolk Under 15s played Sorell at Sorell. The visitors batted first and at one stage were 5 for 10, but recovered very well to make 57 with Dylan Morgan top-scoring with 18 not out and Cody Morgan 8. With the ball, Nathan Rice, Cody Morgan and Jack Edwards did well taking two wickets each.

Molesworth Under 15s had a good win over Clarence White. S. Holloway did well with the bat making 14 as did J. Fisher Cooley with 10. In the bowling J. Nichols had the excellent figures of 4 for 9 off 6 overs while J. Lester 3-14 (7 and B. McRoss 2-11 (6) also did a great job.
