Bushfire warning for Mt Lloyd

TASMANIA FIRE SERVICE


BUSHFIRE ADVICE MESSAGE FOR MT LLOYD
 
Issued At: 5.13pm today
Updated at 7.13pm
 
There is a bushfire at Mt Lloyd Rd, Mt Lloyd.
 
There is no immediate threat to properties. There is smoke and flames visible in the Mt Lloyd and Crosswells Rd area.
 
The only concern is there may be trees that could fall across the road.


A tree is currently blocking traffic near 273 Mt Lloyd Rd. The road is not currently passable and the tree will be removed as soon as possible
 
What to do:
  • People in Mount Lloyd should keep up to date by listening to ABC Local Radio or look at the TFS website at www.fire.tas.gov.au.
  • Well prepared homes are defendable in these conditions. If you are not prepared for a bushfire, think about leaving for a safe place if it gets more dangerous.
  • If your family has made a bushfire survival plan, check it now
