ROAD CLOSURES in the Derwent Valley:  Due to the extreme weather conditions all motorists are advised to take extreme caution on all roads. There are numerous instances of excess water on the roads as well apart from the listed road closures. Click here for road closure updates.

  • Beware of fallen trees.
  • Do not drive, walk, play, ride or swim through flood waters
  • Do not go near storm drains and pipes, causeways and waterways, ravines and rivers
  • Keep your phone charged in case of power outages
  • Move livestock to higher ground
  • Ensure your pets are safe.
