Media Release - Water outage in New Norfolk area
Southern Water wishes to advise New Norfolk residents that a water main has burst on Humphrey St and Dean St, New Norfolk.
As a result, water supply to approximately 100 customers in Trevor Tce, Dean St, Nicholson St, Rex St, Andrews St, Humphrey St, Sharland Ave, Charlotte St and Kensington St has been temporarily interrupted.
Southern Water crews are on site working to resolve the issue as soon as possible.
To provide water for essential needs while service is interrupted Southern Water has stationed a drinking water trailer on the corner of Dean St and Blair St. This service should be available from 6pm.
Updated details will be provided at http://www.southernwatertas.com.au/Current-Public-Notices/Water-supply-interruptions as soon as they are available.
When water services are returned, customers should run an outside tap for a few minutes until the water runs clear.
Southern Water sincerely regrets any inconvenience this outage has caused.
