Warning to Sheep Graziers
for the Furneaux Islands, North West Coast, Midlands, East Coast, Upper Derwent Valley and South East forecast districts
Issued at 10:56 pm EST on Saturday 7 July 2018.
Sheep graziers are warned that cold temperatures, showers and strong westerly winds are expected during Saturday and Sunday. Areas likely to be affected include the Upper Derwent Valley forecast district and parts of the Furneaux Islands, North West Coast, Midlands, East Coast and South East forecast districts. There is a risk of losses of lambs and sheep exposed to these conditions.
The next warning will be issued by 5am Sunday.
