Fire Weather Warning
for the East Coast, Midlands, Upper Derwent Valley, South East, Central Plateau and Western forecast districts
Issued at 1:47 pm on Friday 1 March 2019.
Weather Situation
Temperatures in the mid/high thirties, low relative humidity, and west to northwesterly winds averaging 20-30km/h with gusts up to 50km/h are expected about the southeast of Tasmania this afternoon.
Temperatures in the high thirties, low relative humidity, and north to northwesterly winds averaging 25-35km/h with gusts up to 60-70km/h are expected about the southern half of Tasmania on Saturday.

Very High Fire Danger in the following forecast districts:Midlands, Upper Derwent Valley and South East
For Saturday 2 March:
Severe Fire Danger is forecast for the following forecast districts:Midlands, Upper Derwent Valley and South East
Very High Fire Danger is forecast for the following forecast districts:
East Coast, Central Plateau and Western
