Washing your hands for 20 seconds is one of the most effective forms of infection control. Do this after blowing your nose, coughing or sneezing; after close physical contact with anyone who is unwell; after using the toilet; before and after eating; before, during and after preparing food; and after feeding or touching a pet.

Save the date: outdoor movie night

THE sequel to the family favourite movie The Incredibles is on the bill for an outdoor movie night in New Norfolk next month.

As part of this year's Youth Week celebrations, local youth organisation D'FAT will present Incredibles 2 as the feature of its latest outdoor movie night.

Arthur Square in the town centre will once again be the venue for the movie night, which will be held on the evening of Saturday, April 13.

The event will start at 7pm and food and drinks will be available on site. Admission is free and it is recommended to take along a picnic rug, deck chair or bean bag. This is a drug and alcohol-free event.
