BUSHY PARK: Free entry to Bushy Park Pool, 10am-6pm. Free barbecue lunch and activities.

MAYDENA: Community walk to Junee Cave at 10am; Free pool entry from 12-3pm; Free barbecue lunch and activities

NEW NORFOLK SWIMMING POOL: Free entry and activities

TYNWALD PARK, NEW NORFOLK
  • 11am Fun Run/Walk start at Tynwald Park, entries accepted up to 1/2 hour beforehand
  • From 11.30am: Fun and games with the Derwent Valley Youth Future Action Team (D’FAT), children’s races including sack race and tug of war
  • From 11.30am: Free barbecue and drinks (Lions Club of New Norfolk)
  • From 11.30am: Derwent Valley Concert Band performances
  • Noon: Citizenship ceremonies, National Anthem and flag-raising ceremony
  • 12.30pm: Welcome to Australia Day Ambassador by Woolworths manager
  • 12.30pm: Australia Day Ambassador's address
  • 12.40pm Australia Day Awards and other awards presented by Mayor Martyn Evans
  • St John Ambulance volunteers in attendance

NEW NORFOLK CUP, KENSINGTON PARK: First race 1pm. Full program here.

ARTHUR SQUARE, NEW NORFOLK: Official opening of Commemorative Wall at 2.30pm.

    When do we find out the results of the fun runs? :-) Will there be a link to them on this site?
