Meet the ambassador

Jane Clifton
ACTRESS Jane Clifton has been named as this year's Australia Day Ambassador for the Derwent Valley. Perhaps best known for her role in Prisoner from 1980-84 but the show business all-rounder is also a singer, writer and public speaker.

Ms Clifton has been an Australia Day Ambassador for more than five years, serving in places such as Melbourne, Nunawading and Koo Wee Rup in Victoria.
