Harley owners rally in New Norfolk

AS many as 250 members of the Harley Davidson Owners Group are in New Norfolk this weekend for the group's 2013 Tasmania State Rally. The event is based at the New Norfolk District Football Clubrooms in Back River Rd.

The Tasmanian Chapter of the Harley Owners Group (HOG) supports a different charity each year and the New Norfolk District Hospital has been named as this year's beneficiary.

The public is invited to attend a gymkhana event on the Derwent Esplanade at New Norfolk from 2pm today (Saturday) as the HOG members perform all sorts of activities on their machines.

Tomorrow (Sunday) there will be a "show and shine" display in High St from 10-11am where a wide range of Harley Davidson models will be on display. At 11am the riders will depart for Richmond in a massed formation known as the Thunder Run.
