MOLESWORTH and Collinsvale primary schools will remain closed tomorrow (Friday 8) due to the current bushfire danger, Education Department deputy secretary Andrew Finch said today.
"The alternate schooling arrangements currently in place for parents who are unable to organise supervised care for their children tomorrow will continue. Children attending Collinsvale Primary can attend Glenorchy Primary and Molesworth students can be dropped off at New Norfolk Primary," he said.
Staff of the Molesworth and Collinsvale schools are requested to follow the same arrangements and parents are reminded not to leave their children unsupervised in their home.
Mr Finch said at this stage both schools are expected to re-open on Tuesday, February 12.
