Derwent Valley power outage

FALLEN power lines have resulted in a loss of electricity supply to about 1515 properties at Black Hills, Boyer, Bushy Park, Ellendale, Fentonbury, Fitzgerald, Glenora, Gretna, Hayes, Karanja, Lawitta, Macquarie Plains, Magra, Maydena, Meadowbank, Mount Field, National Park, New Norfolk, Ouse, Plenty, Rosegarland, Tyenna and Westerway.

Social media commentary indicates not all properties in the areas listed have lost power. TasNetworks has advised customers to check its website after 4pm for an update on the estimated time of restoration.
