Wade's cricket finals tips

IN the First Grade 2nd semi final, I’m tipping St Anne's to defeat New Norfolk I by two wickets. The Red Caps haven’t beaten the Crows this season and with the match being played at Cadbury’s it’s going to be a tough task today. But cricket is a funny game and any thing can happen... maybe a hat-trick in the dying stages and dare I go against my tip!

In the Fourth Grade preliminary final today, Bothwell I will be out to avenge their loss from the 2nd semi-final. The Bucks have defeated Claremont on both occasions and captain Joey Eyles will accept nothing but determination and the old fashioned attitude of getting it done! I'm tipping the Bucks by six wickets with Matthew and Cody Eyles having a day out.

In the Eighth Grade preliminary final, I’m tipping Bothwell II to win in a close one today. Both teams have one-all against each other during the roster matches, with Bothwell winning the last one by 101 runs at Cadbury’s, this they will gain plenty of confidence from. Brad Eyles should continue his good form with the bat and Peter Hansch will take some important wickets.
