A grant of $800,000 for the second stage of the Maydena Bike Park was stated to be a done deal as part of the government's Cycle Tourism Strategy when announced in January, but a further $7.8 million for various local projects was dependent on the Liberal Party being returned to office. These include (let us know if we've missed any):

Derwent Valley Railway: Access to a section of the Derwent Valley Line between the Back River Rd and Third Avenue level crossings, to undertake necessary track works in the immediate vicinity of New Norfolk Station. These works will be the next step in enabling Derwent Valley Railway to gain greater access to the Derwent Valley Line, subject to the approval of the National Rail Safety Regulator.
