Washing your hands for 20 seconds is one of the most effective forms of infection control. Do this after blowing your nose, coughing or sneezing; after close physical contact with anyone who is unwell; after using the toilet; before and after eating; before, during and after preparing food; and after feeding or touching a pet.

  • December 21 (Saturday): Gretna Fire Brigade lolly run, 11am-5pm. Glenora/Bushy Park 11am; Macquarie Plains/Rosegarland noon; Gretna 1pm; Marked Tree Rd/Boomfield 2.15pm; Norton Mandeville/Glenelg 2.30pm; Hamilton 3pm; Ouse 4pm. 
  • December 21 (Saturday): "Dive In Movie Night", Bushy Park Pool, 8pm, showing Toy Story 4. Admission $10/$5 by booking or at the gate. Float in the pool or watch from the side!

  • December 24, Christmas Eve (Tuesday): New Norfolk Fire Brigade lolly run. Touring the streets of New Norfolk, 1-5pm. Scheduled Santa Stops at Tynwald Park at 1.10pm; Ellis Dean Reserve skate park at 1.50pm; PCYC/Sports Centre at 3.20pm; Benjamin Tce bike track at 3.50pm; and Magra Fire Station at 4.10pm.
  • December 24, Christmas Eve (Tuesday): Nativity and carols, St Andrew's Anglican Church, Ellendale, 6.30pm.
  • December 24, Christmas Eve (Tuesday): St Peter's Catholic Church, Hillside Crescent, New Norfolk, Family Mass at 6pm, Midnight Mass at 9pm.
