Final Flood Warning for the River Derwent

Flood Warning Number: 5
Minor flooding has eased in the lower reaches of the River Derwent during Tuesday. River levels are expected to continue easing for the next few days.
Lake King William continues to spill resulting in elevated river levels downstream.
From 9AM to 4PM Tuesday, rainfall totals of 5 to 20mm were reported about the Derwent catchment, mainly about the upper reaches.
Strong flows will remain a hazard throughout the Derwent catchment for the next few days.
River Derwent above River Ouse:
River levels are steady the upper River Derwent. Lake King William continues to spill resulting in elevated river levels downstream.
River Ouse:
No further flooding is expected in the River Ouse.
The River Ouse at Ashton is currently at 1.51 metres and steady.
River Clyde:
No further flooding is expected in the River Clyde.
The River Clyde at Bothwell is currently at 1.19 metres and steady.
River Derwent above Meadowbank Dam:
No further flooding is expected in the River Derwent above Meadowbank Dam.
Tyenna River:
No further flooding is expected in the Tyenna River.
Styx River:
No further flooding is expected in the Styx River.
River Derwent below Meadowbank Dam:
No further flooding is expected in the River Derwent below Meadowbank Dam.
The River Derwent below Meadowbank Dam peaked at 4.24 metres around 10:00 pm Monday 10 October and is currently at 3.94 metres and falling. The River Derwent below Meadowbank Dam is expected to remain around the minor flood level (4.10 m) during Tuesday.
The River Derwent at Macquarie Plains is currently at 2.88 metres and falling. The River Derwent at Macquarie Plains will remain below the minor flood level (4.00 m) during Tuesday.
River Derwent around New Norfolk:
No further flooding is expected in the River Derwent around New Norfolk.
The River Derwent at New Norfolk is currently at 1.25 metres and falling.
