In the Under 14s, New Norfolk will play New Town Bucks at Ogilvie High School at 9am and Gretna will play the Glenorchy Magpies at St Virgil's College at 12.45.
With changes to help improve the enjoyment of the game, most notably the pitch and boundary lengths, the kids can look set for a exciting season. Training for the New Norfolk juniors is of a Wednesday evening 4-6pm while the Gretna juniors are training on a Thursday evening starting at 5pm.

Also getting under way this Sunday is Milo in2Cricket at the Glenora District School. This is an entry-level program for young players and there is still time to register. Just go to playcricket.com.au > find my local club > enter your postcode > Glenora District High School > Milo in2Cricket.
In2Cricket caters for boys and girls aged 5-8 and there will be two programs this summer, running from October 23 to December 4, and February 5 to March 19. T20 BLAST
Starting next week is an eight-week Milo T20 Blast program helping children to expand their skills. This will run every Friday from October 28 to December 16, from 4.30-6pm. Sessions will be run at Tynwald Park in New Norfolk and at the Gretna War Memorial Oval, with the first session being at Tynwald Park. T20 Blast caters for boys and girls aged 7-12 years and the cost is $99.
